Mr Chidi Ekwobi is a highly experienced Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. He has been caring for patients since qualifying as a doctor in 2000 and has trained in leading hospitals across Manchester, Preston, London, and Cambridge.

Mr Ekwobi specialises in breast reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, and complex microsurgery. Before joining the team at Royal Preston Hospital in 2016, he worked as a consultant at The Royal Marsden Hospital, one of the UK’s top cancer centres.

Alongside his clinical work, Mr Ekwobi is the Clinical Lead for Burns (Northern Burn Care Network) and is actively involved in training the next generation of plastic surgeons. He also represents the region on the national Specialty Advisory Committee for Plastic Surgery.
